Practice Tasks

To support your study, we provide a series of skills-focussed exercises on the Psychology Practice Tasks web page. These tasks have been designed to help you develop the skills you will need throughout your course.

Tasks are organised by themes such as studying, writing, thinking, speaking, and growth. You can explore these themes to develop your skills in each area.

Each task can be completed at your own pace. Some tasks may be recommended by staff during the year when they link with workshop or lecture content, and we sometimes use tasks as the basis for tutorial exercises.

You’ll also find assessment practice tasks that help you work on specific elements of your summative assignments, with opportunities for formative feedback from Psybot. This is a new feature that we are implementing in specific cases where we think it would be useful for students to receive rapid formative feedback. Note that this is an extra resource, and doesn’t replace any instances of feedback from humans! Psybot is never used to mark your summative assignments.
